Nicole D'Angelo
A resident of Tinton Falls, N.J., Nicole D’Angelo, an accomplished musician, has
been performing for audiences all her life.
Her professional career took off twelve years ago as she began playing the
New Jersey Shore circuit.
Nicole attended Hanover Park High School in East Hanover, NJ where she was heavily involved in all aspects of the music department and expanded her knowledge and experience by performing in various vocal and instrumental ensembles including the highly selective and prestigious All Eastern Chorus and NJ All State Chorus. She continued her education at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, where she majored in Music Education while serving as president of the WPU Collegiate MENC chapter during her senior year. Nicole was also a member of Pi Lambda Theta: International Honor Society and Professional Association in Education, as well as an active member of NJMEA. She was presented with the 1999-2000 Outstanding Music Education Student Award and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (concentration in voice, minor in piano).
Upon graduation, Nicole received a full-time teaching position at Collins Elementary School and Riker Hill Elementary School in Livingston, N.J. where she lovingly taught K-5 General Music and 4th and 5th grade chorus. Since then, Nicole has permanently relocated to Monmouth County (closer to her business) and is more than thrilled to be teaching 1-3 General Music at the Mahala F. Atchison School in Tinton Falls, NJ.
Besides teaching elementary school, her weekends and summers are reserved for performing at the Jersey Shore. Her business, entitled “Music By Nicole,” has become well known around Monmouth and Ocean Counties and Nicole has performed at numerous private parties, weddings, town events, restaurants, bars and taverns. Within the past two years, over 1500 fans have signed up to be a part of her mailing list.
Personal accomplishments have included the following:

| Opened for 60s Doo-Wop group, The Duprees at Manchester Day and the Colts Neck Country Fair |
| Opened for 80s pop star Taylor Dane and 90s singing sensation Sophie B. Hawkins at Asbury Park Festival 2004 |
| Recording with jazz bassist, Rufus Reid (Tanareid Records) on his latest CD entitled “Back to Front” |
| Performing for actor/musician John Stamos at his birthday celebration at the Holiday Inn in Tinton Falls |
| Recording her own self-titled CD which includes an array of covers and one original composition, entitled “Blinded By Love” |
| Performing corporate events at the Taj Mahal and Tropicana Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ |
| Appearing as a spotlight performer on News12 NJ television. She was interviewed and performed her original composition, "Blinded By Love". The segment aired live at 8:30 am and was later broadcast several times during the day. News 12 NJ covers virtually the entire state of NJ. |
Denise DePresca
Denise DePresca (singer/songwriter/guitarist) is also a
resident of Tinton Falls and has performed in various bands/duos and as a solo
artist for many years. Most notably, she is the former lead singer of the
northern New Jersey band, "Azure Skies" and was half of the creative talent
behind "Third Law of Motion" duo. Denise is a wonderful addition to "Music By
Nicole" and her original songs, such as "The Last Song" and "Dream" are becoming
local favorites! When Denise is not performing, she is pursuing her career in
education. Denise takes great pleasure in joining Music By Nicole and is happy
to be part of a Jersey Shore tradition. Denise is also "proud to be part of such
a unique, 'not your typical' female duo. You don't hear too many women belting
out Bruce Springsteen and Barry White!"
“Music By Nicole” has music geared for all audiences of all ages. Whether the occasion is a cocktail hour, or a ‘baby boomer’ rockin'-bar crowd at Jack’s Tavern (Belmar, NJ), or even a senior citizen social event, Nicole’s music will always be there to make people smile.
